If you are one of those parents that still likes having the Easter bunny come visit, this post is for you! Thank you to Brooke for the idea I really wish I had an Easter bunny that surprised me, but I end up making my own basket. At least I know I will like everything in it!
Here are 10 Easter basket ideas for mom and dad
I like having a reason to buy a new book, so every Easter I pick out a book I’ve always wanted to read and put it in my basket. I try to find a book for my husband’s basket too, but it’s a little more difficult.
$5 Gift Cards
I like getting Chick-fil-A or Subway gift cards. I guess it’s basically like buying lunch for my husband for a day.
Framed Picture of Kids
You can get a frame for a couple bucks at Walmart and then print a cute picture of your kids. Perfect for the office wall or desk!
Pedicure Gift Certificate
I’m pretty sure if this was the only thing in Mom’s basket she would be ecstatic!
I want one of these SO bad! After seeing it on Shark Tank, I think it would save me so much time in the kitchen. They have them at Bed Bath and Beyond, but not the one by my house
Personalized Mug, Mousepad, Etc.
CVS, Sam’s Club, Costco, Walmart and Walgreen’s have affordable mugs, mouse pads, desk calendars for the office or home. They also have personalized smartphone cases!
New Baseball Hat
If Dad wears hats, you could try and find a new version of his favorite team. They have some pretty cool designs at Lids!
Doesn’t have to be a huge bottle, maybe a smaller one that you haven’t tried before?
Coupon for One-Hour Nap!!!
Maybe my husband will read this post and make it happen! Or at least add it to the rest of the items I buy for myself
DVD or Music
I think CDs with favorite songs are a little dated, but an iTunes gift card or new album would probably be appreciated! Skyfall and Les Miserables just came out if you are looking for a great movie to add!
Sorry, this list isn’t as fun and exciting as the kids’ lists! After 10 Easters together, it is getting quite difficult to be creative!
